The iPhone 14 features an ultra-wide camera and a new 12-megapixel main camera with f/1.5 aperture and sensor-based stabilization. Apple claims that there is a 49% improvement in low-light image quality compared to the iPhone 13 and that the night mode is now twice as fast.

There’s also a new 12-megapixel TrueDepth camera with autofocus on the front. Apple alleges that it also applies its Deep Fusion image processing “earlier in the image pipeline,” improving low-light performance and color rendering, calling this Photogenic Engine technology. The aperture is also faster, with 38% more brightness: the focus would be faster than its predecessor, even with little light.

iPhone 14 and iPhone 13: who has the best battery life?

Few figures have been announced by Apple for the new iPhone. The battery is expected to last a full day, without more precision. The iPhone Plus is supposed to have the best battery life for an iPhone, a first without having to switch to the iPhone Pro Max. As a reminder, the iPhone 13 offers up to 19 hours in video playback, up to 15 hours in streaming and up to 75 hours in audio.
